Key Provisions for Foreign Real Estate Investment


1. Foreign Investment Requirements (No Residency Permit Required):

Foreign citizens from the countries listed in the Appendix (see below) are granted the right to invest by purchasing newly constructed real estate objects (excluding land) without requiring a residence permit (yashash guvohnomasi), provided the property value meets minimum thresholds:

Note: Purchasing property under these conditions does not serve as a basis for obtaining a permanent residence permit (doimiy ro'yxatdan o'tish) or a residence certificate in the Republic of Uzbekistan.


2. Definition of "Newly Constructed Real Estate":

For the purposes of this Resolution, "newly constructed real estate objects" include properties where construction work has begun but has not yet been commissioned, and properties that have been commissioned for no more than three years (based on the decision of the district (city) governor or the permit for use).


3. Payment Requirement:

Mutual settlements for the purchase of real estate under these provisions must be carried out via bank accounts, and the document confirming the transaction must be presented to the notary.


4. IT-Visa Exemption:

Foreign citizens with an "IT-visa" and their family members (spouse, parents, and children) are not subject to the minimum property value requirements listed above when purchasing real estate, and a residence permit is not required.
